The improvement of alcohol fountain system

after using the Heidelberg five color offset press introduced by our factory in 1992 for nearly two years, we found that the heat exchange structure of the supporting bardwin vertical alcohol fountain system is relatively advanced, small in size and excellent in heat exchange effect. However, in actual use, the compressor starts frequently, is damaged or works poorly for many times, resulting in insufficient cooling of the fountain solution, which seriously affects the printing quality. Such as a large number of dirty spots, white spots, full version is particularly obvious. Compared with the electro-hydraulic servo material testing machine with more than 30t, the electronic testing machine often stops to clean the layout, and even changes the whole system fountain solution, which is labor-consuming, time-consuming and ineffective, and seriously affects the efficiency. This is mainly because the impurities such as powder, ink, paper powder, etc. in the printing process fall into the bucket tank and penetrate into the water circulation, resulting in the blockage of sundries at all ports of the circulation, especially the water pump port of the water tank and the return port of the cooling evaporator. The equipment is in three consecutive shifts and cannot be cleaned at any time, but can only be cleaned regularly

I personally cleaned up the sundries at each port and carefully observed the working condition of the circulating system. I found that the filter in the water tank was actually a metal concave plate with a filter cotton pad, which was only 0.42m × 0.4m × 0.05m=0.0084m3, which can not meet the water circulation filtration volume of about 0.3m3 at all. The newly replaced filter cotton only takes a few minutes to put a lot of impurities to block the pores, losing the effect of passing through water. The cement floating impurities overflow around and fall into the water tank, and the unfiltered fountain solution starts a new cycle, which soon blocks the pump port and evaporation return port. At this time, it is very difficult to clean. Hand digging, hooking and washing are time-consuming and labor-consuming, affecting production. In view of this situation, I designed and added a filter device between the water bucket of each color group and the main filter, all of which are of stainless steel structure. Since its installation in early 1994, it has been used with good effect. The fountain solution is rarely replaced. The refrigerator starts normally. The faults caused by blockage no longer exist, and the printing quality is greatly improved. The advantages of this device are:

① the material is not rusty, acid and alcohol resistant, without any desolvent pollution, and will not affect the quality of fountain solution

② place the bottom side of each color group, which does not prevent the larger the operating force, and 140 copper related products that have passed the qualification certification are also popular

③ the filtering effect is good, and there will be no water overflow on the main filtering plate of the raw water tank, and the water tank does not need to be cleaned in a short time

④ cleaning is very convenient. The filter element can be cleaned at any time without affecting the operation of the equipment. The filter element does not need to be replaced for long-term use
